He has consulted to small business owners since joining SAICA in 2007, working from Cape Town. The company was formed in September 2018 so the practice had a clean legal home. The work itself is older than the registration.

Before the practice was scaled, he spent time as a project accountant at BroadReach Healthcare (2008–2014) and as an audit manager at Moore Stephens VDA. The audit years are why a file either reconciles or it does not. The project years are why a report that nobody will read is not a deliverable.

He is a certified Sage Business Cloud Accounting adviser and an accredited FNB Instant Accountant. Those are tools. The client is still the family business that wants the books current and the tax tail kept in its place.
